The 2025 South Carolina Art Education Association Fall Conference embraces the theme Take On, inspiring educators to take on new challenges, bold ideas, and innovative opportunities in visual art, media arts, and design education. This theme invites participants to reflect on their roles as pioneers in the evolving landscape of arts education, equipping students for the future while embracing what’s next in pedagogy, technology, and creative exploration.
Take On celebrates the courage to innovate, the curiosity to explore emerging trends, and the resilience to adapt in a rapidly changing world. Together, we will shape the future of art education in South Carolina—one idea, one challenge, and one breakthrough at a time.
Conference proposals are due by June 11, 2025 to allow for conference session planning this summer. The conference will take place from November 21-23, 2025 (sessions all day Friday/Saturday and Sunday morning, pre-sessions on Thursday evening), at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Greenville, SC.
